A key Breakeven is a MetaTrader utility tool rather than a standalone trading strategy. It manages existing orders: when a basket of buy and sell orders on the same currency pair is overall profitable, it calculates and applies a common stop-loss or take-profit level so the whole position closes at a user-defined point profit (e.g. 50 points on a set of EURUSD orders). It does not open trades itself; the user loads it onto a chart and reactivates it each time new orders are added, and levels are set only when price/order positions allow it.
