During the quiet hours of the night, USDJPY and Gold often move inside a narrow range. USDJPY and Gold each have their own range window and their own closing time, validated on two separate periods (2012-2018 and 2019-2026). Up to two trades a day on USDJPY (the second only after a stop, in the opposite direction), one on Gold.
