Catalyst News Trader PRO is an MT5 Expert Advisor that trades around scheduled high- and medium-impact US economic news releases using data from the MQL5 Economic Calendar. High-impact events trigger an OCO straddle (buy stop and sell stop placed before the release, with the unfilled side cancelled), while medium-impact events use an engine that waits for the actual data print and trades in the pre-set bias direction versus the forecast. Losing positions are managed with a martingale grid that adds same-direction positions at fixed-point or ATR-based spacing with a lot multiplier, protected by break-even and trailing profit stages, a max spread guard, and daily circuit breakers (drawdown %, max trades, consecutive losses).
