Counterpoise Pro is a MetaTrader hedging utility rather than a strategy EA: it monitors existing positions (manual or opened by another EA) and opens opposing hedge trades when floating loss reaches a user-defined USD threshold. A full-hedge engine can offset up to 100% of exposure with a single counter-position, while a dynamic engine scales hedge volume in stages using a trigger distance, scaling interval, and lot multiplier up to a coverage cap. Hedges close automatically when the parent position closes, and a maximum-loss ceiling in USD forces closure of both legs as a hard stop. It works on any symbol and timeframe on hedging-enabled accounts.
