DetectTrend5 is a MetaTrader 5 expert advisor that generates trading signals by detecting trend changes with fast and slow moving averages. It works on Forex and can also run on stock and commodity instruments, supporting both netting and hedging accounts. When the trend reverses, opposite positions are closed and the temporary loss is tracked and added to the profit target of the new position; if the current loss exceeds a configurable percentage of the balance, the position is closed and the debt is recorded for later compensation. The EA includes a graphical button interface with on-the-fly settings and alerts for insufficient funds or incorrect use.
