Directional Layering is a MetaTrader 5 expert advisor that uses higher-timeframe EMA trend detection (default H1, with EMA 50/200) and waits for a pullback to a 20-period EMA on the entry timeframe (default M15) before opening the initial position. If price moves against the position, it layers additional positions at a configurable distance with a configurable lot multiplier, manages all positions as one basket with a weighted-average profit target, and after the maximum layer count can open a one-time opposite recovery hedge with two exit modes. Risk controls include a maximum spread filter, floating drawdown protection that closes positions, margin and broker volume validation; no fixed stop loss is described. Symbols are not specified, and a hedging-type MT5 account is recommended.
