EventStrike News Straddle is a MetaTrader 5 expert advisor that places a stop-order straddle (buy stop and sell stop) before a selected high-impact economic-calendar event. The first side to fill cancels the other via OCO logic, and unfilled orders expire server-side after the event. Entry timing, stop distance, stop-loss, and reward:risk are configurable, with risk-based lot sizing capped by the prop firm's remaining daily drawdown budget; it refuses to arm if the firm restricts news trading or the budget is too thin. It uses the MT5 economic calendar for event selection and is not usable in the Strategy Tester.
