GapRider EA is a MetaTrader 5 expert advisor for buy-side gap trading. It detects large price movements exceeding a multiple of the average candle range and places pending buy orders to catch retracements, optionally waiting for price to drop below the gap low and recover before entering. Stop loss is based on a volatility-derived trailing stop but is disabled by default, and exposure is limited by a fixed lot size and a maximum pending order count. It is recommended for major forex pairs on the H1 timeframe.
