GapHunter EA is a MetaTrader 5 expert advisor that trades price gaps at the opening of broker trading sessions. It compares the previous daily (D1) close with the current session's opening price and, if the gap exceeds a configurable minimum size, enters a position in the direction of the gap filling, detecting the gap on the first tick with an acceptable spread rather than waiting for a bar close. Risk management includes selectable stop loss modes (none, fixed points, or ATR-based), a virtual breakeven mechanism held in memory, partial closes, optional auto lot by risk percentage, and an optional reinvest mode that scales lot size with free margin; positions can also be force-closed at a scheduled server time. The EA checks for a gap only once per session and reads broker trading sessions directly from the symbol specification.
