Gold Channel Expert is a MetaTrader 5 expert advisor that combines a price channel (highest high/lowest low of a configurable period, default 65 candles) with a long-term SMA (default 200) as a trend filter. It opens a single position per symbol when price re-crosses the channel midpoint in the direction of the SMA trend, sets the initial stop loss at the opposite channel boundary, targets profit via a configurable risk/reward ratio, and trails the stop loss along moving channel boundaries. Parameters are preconfigured for XAUUSD on the 5-minute chart, but the symbol and timeframe can be changed.
