Distance Trader MT5 is a MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor that opens positions in a chosen direction whenever the price has moved a user-defined distance from prior entries, allowing multiple simultaneous positions up to a configurable maximum. It works on any chart symbol, with the developer primarily using it on XAUUSD (also tested on EURUSD). Stop Loss and Take Profit are both optional; the developer's own Gold configuration disables the Stop Loss while using a 500-pip Take Profit. The EA includes broker-oriented utilities such as automatic volume adjustment, margin checks, and magic number management, and runs on the timeframe of the chart it is attached to.
