Gold Variable Dow reads Dow theory structure on H4 and H1 and steps down to a lower timeframe only when the higher one is unclear. How it works Each time a bar of the evaluation timeframe closes, the Expert Advisor checks the timeframes from the top down: H4, then H1, and optionally M15, M5 and M1. On the first timeframe that has a clear trend and room from the swing lines, the Expert Advisor opens a trade in the direction of the Stochastic oscillator. Swing detection By default, H4 and H1 swings are confirmed by the lower timeframe. The evaluation timeframe is set in the inputs (M5 by default). Pairs: XAUUSD.
