Hedgedog The Gold Eater is a fully automated MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor for trading gold (XAUUSD) on the M1 timeframe. It opens hedged Buy and Sell positions on Bollinger Band signals (configurable as body breakout or wick touch) and, if the market moves against a position, runs a recovery grid whose spacing is calculated dynamically from ATR. Exits are managed via a collective basket trailing stop, and risk is contained through a daily equity killswitch (hard stop), daily profit target rest, a native MT5 news filter, spread protection, and a hard stop loss and take profit on every order. A hedging account type is required, with a recommended minimum balance of $1,000 for 0.01 initial lot configurations.
