Impetus is a fully automated Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that generates entries from two independent signal channels, each analyzing price over a configurable look-back period with a statistical deviation coefficient and a volatility corridor filter; trades are confirmed only when both channels align. Positions use fixed or equity-percentage-based lot sizing with take profit and stop loss set in points at order placement, plus a maximum drawdown control and a limit on open positions. Spread protection is provided via static and dynamic spread filters. It is symbol- and timeframe-agnostic and uses configurable technical parameters rather than predictive or AI models.
