Institutional News Trader is an MT5 expert advisor that trades around high-impact economic calendar releases using the platform's built-in economic calendar. It uses a dual-phase entry approach: immediate market orders during the first seconds of a data spike with a reduced risk modifier, followed by limit orders placed on breakout retests within a longer window after the release. Risk is managed through equity-based lot sizing, a daily drawdown cap that liquidates positions and halts trading, cross-chart position and symbol caps, a stop after consecutive losses in one release sequence, and a 180-minute maximum hold time that closes positions before overnight exposure. It is designed for M30 chart validation and is compatible with hedging and netting accounts.
