MACD Cross Trader is a MetaTrader 5 expert advisor that opens trades on MACD line/signal-line crossovers, filtered by a long-term EMA trend filter so entries align with the prevailing trend direction. Stop Loss and Take Profit are set dynamically as ATR multiples, with an optional ATR-based trailing stop. It uses a fixed lot size, checks free margin with a safety buffer, applies a maximum spread filter, and evaluates signals once per new bar with only one position open per chart. Symbols, timeframe, and all indicator settings are configurable inputs, so it can be applied to any market the user chooses.
