MATrader AI MT5 is an expert advisor for MetaTrader 5 designed for XAUUSD (gold), using the M1 chart as its default timeframe. Entries combine a higher-timeframe trend engine (MN1) with a shorter-term momentum confirmation layer (M5), so trades are taken mainly in the direction of the larger trend, which has made its history almost entirely BUY positions. After an initial entry, it manages a grid-style basket: it can add positions at configurable distances using a 'Step Lots' progression (lot size stays flat for several positions before stepping up; a multiplier-based mode is optional) and works the basket toward exit via take profit, minimal profit protection, trailing, break even, and optional equity-based or daily targets. Risk controls include equity caution and hard equity stop levels, maximum lot caps, position limits, grid depth caps, drawdown circuit breakers, and optional news, time, RSI, ATR, and ADX filters; hedge functionality exists but is disabled in the standard configuration.
