A MetaTrader 5 expert advisor that trades around high and/or medium impact economic news releases using one of four selectable strategies: a straddle with pending buy/sell stop orders before the release, a trend-filtered order before the release, a post-release reversal entry, and a standalone reversal-reaction entry based on a higher timeframe inverse signal indicator. It can use the MT5 built-in calendar or a Forex Factory calendar, supports backtesting via a CSV news file, and exits via take profit and an optional ATR-based trailing stop. Every trade uses a stop loss, with optional maximum equity drawdown protection, and the seller states it does not use grid, hedging, or martingale recovery methods. It runs on the M5 timeframe on any currency pair containing EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, AUD, NZD, JPY, or CNY, with recommended optimized set files for USDJPY and GBPUSD and a low-spread ECN account.
