Obsidian Alpha is a MetaTrader 5 expert advisor that trades based on confirmed trend signals filtered by ADX trend strength and ATR volatility. Rather than entering immediately, it places pending Buy Limit or Sell Limit orders at predefined distances from the market, with an optional trailing mechanism for the pending order and a separate, independent trailing mechanism for open positions. Positions have a working take profit and stop loss, and the EA can add to positions up to a configurable chain depth with scaling position sizes, plus optional progressive risk tightening for extended chains. Position sizing can be fixed or automatically regulated relative to account balance; the seller does not specify particular symbols or timeframes and recommends per-instrument calibration.
