Pairs Trading Expert is a MetaTrader expert advisor that implements a pairs trading strategy based on statistical arbitrage and mean reversion. It computes a hedge ratio between two correlated symbols to form a synthetic spread, monitors the spread's Z-score using a rolling Welford window, and opens simultaneous buy/sell baskets when the spread deviates beyond a configurable standard-deviation entry level, closing them when it reverts toward the configurable exit level. The hedge symbol lot size is calculated automatically from the user-defined base lot size to maintain the ratio. It can run on any two symbols across markets such as Forex, stocks, indices, and commodities, and the description does not mention grid, martingale, or stop-loss mechanisms.
