PropFirm Guardian for MT5 is a defensive utility expert advisor that monitors account equity and balance in real time and force-closes all open positions (and optionally pending orders) when a configured daily or total drawdown limit is reached. It then blocks new trading via a persistent flag until an automatic reset at broker midnight (GMT or local time), helping traders comply with prop firm drawdown rules such as those of FTMO, MyForexFunds, FundedNext, or The5ers. It works account-wide across all symbols and magic numbers, includes an on-chart dashboard, alerts, an optional magic number filter, and a public API other EAs can query. It is a risk-management tool rather than a trading strategy and does not itself generate entries.
