Simple spike Trader is a MetaTrader expert advisor that trades price spikes: a spike is defined as a bar exceeding the highs of a configurable number of preceding bars by a set percentage and closing in the lower portion of its range (inverted for bearish signals). It trades any currency pair, with the seller's listed optimization based on GBPUSD on the 1-hour timeframe. Positions are held until a set number of bars pass or an opposite signal appears; repeated same-direction signals only reset the holding timer rather than adding positions. Risk is managed with a fixed take profit, stop loss, and trailing stop expressed in points.
