SmartGoldHybrid is a MetaTrader 5 expert advisor developed primarily for XAUUSD/Gold, combining a low-frequency long-term trend-following strategy (Cross) with a one-directional DCA system that adds positions only in the direction of the prevailing trend using price-distance and reversal-candle conditions. It offers three modes: Cross-only, DCA-only, and Hybrid, which coordinates exposure between the two strategies. Position sizing is based on configurable Trading Capital and Target Drawdown parameters, with optional soft and hard drawdown protection that stops new entries or attempts to close positions at configured thresholds.
