Steady Gain Protector is a simplified, entry-level Expert Advisor for MetaTrader 5 that trades gold (XAUUSD) on the M5 or M15 timeframe. It opens BUY positions only when a fast 5-period EMA crosses above a slow 15-period EMA with confirmation from consecutive bullish ticks, using a fixed 0.01 lot size and a maximum of one open position at a time. Risk is managed with predefined Take Profit and Stop Loss levels (3000 points each), plus pre-trade checks of free margin, account status, and a margin safety buffer. The Lite version has fixed parameters and lacks break-even, trailing stop, pyramiding, and session filtering.
