Straddle Engine is a MetaTrader 5 expert advisor that places pending orders on both sides of price (one for a breakout, one for a reversal) and lets the market determine which direction is taken. It is designed primarily for XAUUSD on the M5 timeframe but can run on other instruments. Entries can be filtered by Bollinger Bands, session hours, spread, and a currency-aware high-impact news filter. Risk is managed with risk-percent or fixed lot sizing, a hard lot cap, stop losses, optional break-even, trailing stops, and optional risk-reward-based take profits; it uses no grid or martingale logic.
