SwapSurfer is a fully automated MetaTrader expert advisor designed for trend-following on USDJPY, primarily on the H1 timeframe, and can also be applied to other swap-positive instruments such as GBPJPY and EURJPY. It uses a SAR-based structural mapping of swing highs and waits for a trend-reversal confirmation signal to place a pending buy order, which is cancelled if the market fails to confirm within a five-candle validity window; it only takes long positions and may hold trades for multiple days to collect positive swap. Risk is managed with a stop loss, a break-even shift once the trade reaches 30% of its target, an adaptive trailing stop, a configurable minimum 2:1 reward-to-risk ratio, and an optional Friday closing time. An optional equity-based lot increase feature is also included.
