Tortoise Shell is an MT5 Expert Advisor that generates entries from binary tick-direction sequences rather than classic indicators, arming a side after a directional tick run and trading on the reversal tick. A geometry resolver adjusts order direction to maintain a BUY-below / SELL-above structure, while boundary chains extend against losing positions by a configured loss spacing, resembling a grid with hedged BUY and SELL layers. Exits rely on profit arm/drop trailing, optional candle/TTTS expansion, and an account-basket arm/drop close; the EA does not use a fixed stop loss by default and can hold many open positions, so margin management is emphasized. Default parameters were developed around GOLD, with other symbols requiring re-optimization.
