Trend Friend Gold is a fully automated MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor for Gold (XAUUSD) that uses a channel breakout strategy. At each new candle it defines a price channel from recent highs and lows, then enters a buy or sell only after a confirmed close beyond the channel by a configurable buffer, holding a single position at a time. Trades are managed with a configurable stop loss, take profit, break-even move, and optional trailing stop, and the EA enforces daily profit/loss limits, spread filtering, margin checks, a session time window, and broker stop-level compliance. The recommended setup is the H1 timeframe or higher, an ECN/RAW-spread broker with 2-digit gold pricing, and a hedging account type.
