TrendEdge is a trend-following Expert Advisor made for gold. It waits for the H1 price to break out of the range of the previous four days, opens one trade in the direction of the breakout, protects it with an ATR stop loss and then trails the stop behind the price. HOW IT TRADES It watches the H1 chart and waits for a close above the highest high, or below the lowest low, of the previous 96 hours (four days). The lookback is set in hours and converted to bars, so the same settings also work on other timeframes (H1 is recommended). SETUP Attach TrendEdge to an H1 chart of XAUUSD (or another gold symbol) and enable Algo Trading.
