Veltrion Risk Manager is a non-trading utility EA for MetaTrader 5 that monitors an account and enforces risk limits rather than opening trades. It tracks daily loss, maximum drawdown, floating loss, and consecutive losses, closing managed positions and locking the account when limits are breached, and it can auto-close new positions opened after a lock to prevent revenge trading. Protection state is stored in MetaTrader Global Variables so it persists across chart changes or EA restarts within the day. It includes filtering by symbol and magic number, a dashboard, alerts, and an emergency close button, and is aimed at manual traders, EA users, and prop firm traders.
