A MetaTrader 5 expert advisor that runs a long-only overnight carry strategy on USDJPY and EURJPY, opening one buy position per symbol at 23:00 Japan time each business evening and closing both at 09:53 the next morning to collect the interest-rate differential. Risk is equity-based (0.75% per trade by default) with a hard stop loss set at 0.5 x ATR(14) from the daily chart, no take profit and no trailing stop. The EA includes a regime filter that pauses new entries when the 12-month USDJPY change drops below -10%, plus spread protection, daily loss/profit limits, and an optional news filter. The seller states no grid, martingale or averaging is used, and discloses that the advertised parameters were optimised in-sample on 2021-2026 data while the full 1999-2026 record is substantially weaker.
